International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) Congress - South Africa

The Farm Writers' Association Committee invites expressions of interest from members for assistance to attend the annual IFAJ Congress to be held in South Africa which will be held between 12 - 20 March 2004. Details of the congress can be found at www.agriwriters.org.za

Applications are to be forwarded to the Secretary, Susan Madden (preferably by email: smadden@hassall.com.au) before 31 October 2003 or posted to GPO Box 1108, Sydney NSW 2001.

Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:

The degree to which you have contributed to Farm Writers' Association of NSW;
How your attendance will contribute to Farm Writer's charter; and
Any other benefits to Farm Writers'

The successful applicant will be expected to provide a comprehensive written report within two months of the congress. This report may be used by Farm Writers' and published on its website.
