SOUTH AFRICA BOUND
Stuart Hutton (pres.) and Colin Munro (snr vice-pres.) were awarded a Farmwriters' subsidy to attend the 2004 International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) Congress in South Africa. We look forward to their reports when they return from the wilds in late March.

Vice-president Bev Jordan represented us at the 2003 congress in Holland and has recently returned to the fray after an extended sojourn o/s.

It is a Farmwriters' tradition each year to call for expressions of interest from members to be considered for financial support to attend the annual international congress. As many would recall, committee stalwart Sandy Grieve was instrumental in organising the highly successful international congress hosted by Australia in 2000.
